Bloggers write books and blogs sell books

Blogs sell books.

I have written about the power of blogs to market and sell books in the past.

Using a blog, as a book marketing and promotional vehicle, is one of the wisest decisions any aspiring writer and author can ever make.

Many bloggers have already taken the book writing route.

Bloggers are also recognizing the power of their blogs, to get the word out, about their book publication.

The most recent entrant into the blogging book field is Susannah Gardner of the highly informative Buzz Marketing With Blogs.

Her new book, on the art and science of blogging, is entitled Buzz Marketing With Blogs For Dummies.

To assist with the marketing of the book, and to coincide with its publication, Susannah has made the first chapter "Checking Out Business Blogs" and the Table of Contents available for download in pdf format, from her blog.

Susannah offers readers a free preview.

If the book's first chapter and the table of contents are any indication, and I am sure that they are, then the book should deservedly receive a very wide readership indeed.

Susannah invites other bloggers to share the files with other interested readers as well:

Please feel free to redistribute these files, as long as you maintain a mention of the book title and a link back to this site. I’d love to hear your reactions and thoughts!

The entire book is still not available, but advance orders for copies are being accepted.

Along with providing the free chapter for download, Susannah has not forgotten the news media either.

She has placed her press releases in pdf format on her blog as well, for ease of discovery by journalists and editors.

Using blogs to sell books is becoming one of the fastest and most reliable techniques to market a publication, at the least possible cost.

Susannah Gardner, blogger and author, is doing precisely that.
