Listen to Wayne Hurlbert
Sales and communications speaker, seminar leader, consultant and author of the persuasive and connection building book Make What You Say Pay!, Anne Miller, describes how a simple turn of phrase or an apt metaphor can make your presentations more effective. Metaphors help to clear up confusion and sharpen the overall level of understanding. The clearer the speaker is in providing the message, the more likely sales will be closed, deals will be made, and the speaker becomes unforgettable to the listener. Anne Miller shares how everyone is good at offering metaphors and analogies, and how people understand them as well.
